Abtskücher Teich is a lake with surrounding bushes. The pond and stream provide a good environment for various waterfowl and water-loving birds. You can see Yalıçapkını, Karabatak, Gri balýkçýl, Kuğu, Orman alaca ağaçkakanı, Yeşilbaş and Sakarmeke. Also Nutrias live here. In the surrounding fields, you can also see Sürmeli Çalıkuşu, Çalıkuşu, Serçe, Çakýr and Şahin.

The Abtskücher Teich is located 3 km west of the town of Velbert. Parking lots are nearby. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. There is a footpath around the pond (about 1 km).
