Description
Along the beaches of Libreville, near the airport, are many decent hotels. A walk up or down the beach, can produce quite a few birds - finding some secondary scrub/trees is not hard (some points are marked with a star on the map) and can be quite productive. Birds you can find include wattle-eyes, thick-knee, swifts, doves, sunbirds, weavers, African Thrush, Common Bulbuls and Woodland Kingfishers.

Watch for high tide! And be careful peering into embassy residences, but generally it is very laid-back.
