Along the path that leads to the rocky savannahs and undergrowth it is possible to observe bird species associated with primary forest. On the rocky savannahs the view overlooks the canopy of the primary forest and it is therefore possible with a telescope to make good observations as well as to spot birds such as Blackish Nightjar, Band-rumped Swift, White Hawk (Snowy), Bronzy Jacamar, White-throated Toucan (Red-billed), Red-throated Caracara, Screaming Piha, Bright-rumped Attila (Northern), Golden-sided Euphonia, Green Oropendola, Red-shouldered Tanager, Red-legged Honeycreeper, Chestnut-bellied Seed-Finch, Paradise Jacamar, White-throated Manakin, Purple-throated Fruitcrow, Amazonian Pygmy-Owl, Red-and-black Grosbeak, Yellow-green Grosbeak, Black Curassow, Orange-winged Parrot, Black-tailed Trogon (Large-tailed), Foothill Screech-Owl, Caica Parrot, Red-and-green Macaw, Amazonian Motmot, Channel-billed Toucan, Guianan Toucanet, Blue-headed Parrot, Spangled Cotinga, Yellow-billed Jacamar, Rufous-collared Sparrow, Painted Parakeet, Dusky Parrot, Purple Honeycreeper, Fiery-tailed Awlbill, Pompadour Cotinga, Swallow-tailed Kite, Crested Owl, Paradise Tanager, Rufous-throated Sapphire, White-necked Jacobin, Crimson Topaz, Short-tailed Nighthawk, Rufous-rumped Foliage-gleaner.

Français: La zone est un plateau de roches nue avec des zones éparses de buissons. Le site surplombe la forêt primaire et offre de belles ambiances matin et soir. Le sentier qui mène aux savanes roches et en sous bois il est possible d'y rencontrer les espèces associés de forêt primaire. Sur les savanes roches la vue donne sur la canopée de la forêt primaire et il est donc possible avec une longue vue de faire de bonnes observations.

Access
From Cayenne, after passing Regina, you will find a vacant lot used as a parking lot a few kilometers after the bridge on the left. The entrance to the trail is on the right side of the road at the top of the hill, in rainy season be careful on the Inselberg with moss and algae on the rocks which are very slippery.

Français: De Cayenne, après avoir dépassé Régina, vous trouverez un terrain vague servant de parking quelques kilométres après le pont sur la gauche. L'entrée du sentier est sur le coté droit de la route en haut de la bute, en période des pluies faire attention sur l'Inselberg aux mousses et algues sur la roches qui sont très glissantes.
