Réserve Naturelle Nationale de Chérine et étang de Beauregard are located in the middle of the Brenne Regional Nature Park. The area is embedded in an immense system of ponds and it are havens of peace for birds.. A great place for the observation of birds species of the marshes and reedbeds. In addition, you can observe the discreet European Pond Terrapin, a freshwater turtle that has become rare. Ponds are the favorite nesting place for birds such as terns (Bıyıklı Sumru, Akkanatlı sumru) or herons such as (Erguvani balýkçýl and Sığır balıkçılı).

Français: Situé au milieu du Parc Naturel Régional de la Brenne, les étangs de la Réserve Naturelle de Chérine et de Beauregard sont des havres de paix pour les oiseaux. Imbriqués dans un immense système d'étangs, l'Etang de Beauregard et la Réserve Naturelle Nationale de Chérine sont des lieux privilégiés pour l'observation des espèces discrètes des marais et roselières. De plus, on peut y observer la discrète Cistude d'Europe, une tortue d'eau douce devenue rare. Les étangs sont le lieu de prédiléctoion pour la nidification d'oiseaux tels que les guifettes (Bıyıklı Sumru, Akkanatlı sumru) ou les ardéidés ( Erguvani balýkçýl, Sığır balıkçılı).
