The Roman aqueduct of the Pont du Gard is an icon that is worth a visit in its own right. But you can also encounter interesting birds in the area. Arıkuşu and İbibik are two striking birds that you can see in the wider area of the Pont du Gard. Kara çaylak is a often seen and if you are very lucky you can spot the rare Tavşancıl (two pairs nest in the Gorge du Gardon). Other birds you can encounter include Kaya güvercini, Üveyik, Ak Karınlı Ebabil, Küçük ak balýkçýl, Sarıasma, Kaya kırlangıcı, Kaya serçesi and Bülbül.

The Pont du Gard is well signposted from Remoulins. Note that the parking at the Pont du Gard is quite expensive. A short drive in the direction of Uzès gives free parking within walking distance of the Pont du Gard and immediately the opportunity to encounter Arıkuşu and İbibik.
