Description
Parc Charruyer is a large park (40 ha), where it is easy to meet the most common bird species of the region, and see them up close. Divided into two fairly similar parts, the park is crossed by a canal, offering refuge to many species. You find in particular Yalıçapkını, Sutavuðu, Yeşilbaş. Dağ kuyruksallayanı is also present. In spring, Gökçe güvercin breeds in the park. Also Bülbül, Sıvacı, İspinoz, Çitkuşu or Mavi Baştankara. A large number of Kızılgerdan nest in the park. Perfect for photography! In winter, a whole new world sets in. You can then observe Çam baştankarası, Dağ ispinozu, Karabaşlı iskete and Kara kargası, sometimes feeding on the ground, sometimes at the top of the largest trees. Many Küçük karga, nesters in the spring, spin around the park, where they land in the trees, uttering their particular cries.

Français: Ce grand parc bien arboré situé au coeur de la ville offrira de belles découvertes. Un lieu parfait pour s'initier à l'ornithologie. Ce grand parc (40 ha) propose un milieu agréable, où il est facile de rencontrer les espèces les plus communes de la région, avec une proximité étonnante! Divisé en deux parties assez semblables, il est traversé par un canal, offrant refuge à de nombreuses espèces. On y retrouve notamment le Yalıçapkını , la Sutavuðu, le Yeşilbaş. Les Dağ kuyruksallayanı sont aussi présentes, avec un nombre de couples assez fort.
Très arboré, il est agréable à visiter. D'autres espèces assez intéressantes sont présentes dans le parc. Au printemps, le Gökçe güvercin , nicheur dans le parc, roucoule souvent dans la toison verte que forment les arbres. Il est généralement accompagné par le Bülbül , la Sıvacı , le İspinoz , le Çitkuşu ou encore la Mavi Baştankara . Un grand nombre de Kızılgerdan niche dans le parc. Ils sont d'ailleurs très peu farouche. Parfait pour la photographie ! En hiver, un tout autre monde s'installe. On pourra alors observer les Çam baştankarası , Dağ ispinozu , Karabaşlı iskete et Kara kargası , se nourrissant tantôt au sol, tantôt au sommet des plus grands arbres. De nombreux Küçük karga , nicheurs au printemps, tournoient au dessus du parc, où se posent dans les arbres, en lançant leurs cris si particuliers.

There are several car parks scattered around the park. Some with fee payable, others are free. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that point. There is a small animal park, nice if you have children.
