South of the Rhuys peninsula, take the direction of Sarzeau, then Suscinio castle, finally take the road to the beach after passing the castle (Chemin de Lousaou). You can make a circulair trail. The total route as displayed on the map is about 3.5 km.

Nice place for birdwatching. The birds seem to be used to persons passing by to the nearby beach and on the obsveration platform. Yesterday I only had half an hour to make a stop here and I saw Kaşıkçı, Kılıçgaga, Kızkuşu, Kaşıkçı, Karabağ martı, Çamurçulluğu and some other small waders.
Fabulous spot given the variety and tameness of the birds. I cut short a visit to the Séné reserve so that I could make a second visit here.
We have been twice to this site. In the summer it's full of birds. We went on the 6 th of March 2025 and there was only a few Karabağ martı, Suna and Küçük ak balýkçýl near the castle. Its a huge site so there could have been birds further away.
