Description
Lac de Freycenet is a 5 hectare lake bordered by reeds and vegetation and surrounded by meadows. The wetland is of great ornithological interest during migrations and in the breeding season. A wooden hide was recently built. Birds you can observe include Balık kartalı, Saz delicesi, Gökçe delice, Büyük örümcekkuşu, Kızılsırtlı örümcekkuşu and Kızkuşu.

Lac de Freycenet is located north of the village of Fontannes and south of the village of Freycenet. You can follow a path that can take you to the lake. You can park in Freycenet or at the entrance to Fontannes.
