Description
Étang du Bout du Monde is a reserve of remarkable interest throughout the year. You can find the Kaşıkgaga, Boz ördek, Çamurcun, Elmabaş patka and Tepeli patka all year round, nesting quite regularly. Bahri and Küçük batağan also nest on the pond, joined by several notable species of shorebirds, such as Küçük halkalı cılıbıt and Kızkuşu. A heron colony welcomes numerous pairs of Gri balýkçýl, and the reed beds have numerous Saz Kamışçını, Çalı kamışçını and Bataklık kirazkuşu.
It is during migrations that you will have the best chance of observing a great diversity of species, from the end of July. The site annually hosts groups of Kilkuyruk, Karaboyunlu batağan Karaboyunlu bataðan, Kızılbacak, Yeşilbacak and Karakarınlı kumkuşu, the latter four more often individually. This reserve is remarkable all year round for its gulls. Indeed, this pond provided France with its 3rd mention of Yosun Martısı, and numerous mentions of Büyük Karasırtlı Martı and Gümüş martı for the Île de France. Sightings of this type take place in May as well as June, August or even February.
In winter, Fiyu, Altıngöz, mergansers and other rare diving ducks are regular. The Suna is also a regular winter resident of the site, and the surrounding fields are rich in Çayır incirkuşu, Dağ incirkuşu and Altın yağmurcun during the cold season.

Français: Une réserve intégrale accueillant de nombreux oiseaux d'eau, observables grâce aux différents observatoires postés aux abords de l'étang. Cette réserve intégrale est d'un intérêt remarquable tout au long de l'année. On peut y rencontrer les Kaşıkgaga, Boz ördek, Çamurcun, Elmabaş patka et Tepeli patka toute l'année, nichant assez régulièrement. Le Bahri et Küçük batağan nichent aussi sur l'étang, rejoint par plusieurs espèce notables de limicoles, comme le Küçük halkalı cılıbıt et le Kızkuşu. Une héronnière acceuille de nombreux couples de Gri balýkçýl, et les roselières acceuillent de nombreux chanteurs de Saz Kamışçını, Çalı kamışçını et Bataklık kirazkuşu.
C'est aux migrations que vous aurez le plus de chance d'observer une grande diversité d'espèce, à partir de fin juillet. Le site accueille anuellement des groupes de Kilkuyruk, Karaboyunlu batağan Karaboyunlu bataðan , Kızılbacak, Yeşilbacak et Karakarınlı kumkuşu, ces quatres derniers plus souvent à l'unité. Cette réserve est remarquable tout au long de l'année pour ses laridés. En effet, cet étang a fourni à la France sa 3e mention de Yosun Martısı, et de nombreuses mentions de Büyük Karasırtlı Martı et Gümüş martı pour l'Île de France. Les observations de ce type ont aussi bien lieu en mai qu'en juin qu'en août ou encore qu'en février, donc ouvrez l'oeil !
En hiver, les Fiyu, Altıngöz, harles et autres rares canards plongeurs sont réguliers. Le Suna est aussi un hivernant régulier du site, et les champs alentours sont riches en Çayır incirkuşu, Dağ incirkuşu et Altın yağmurcun pendant la saison froide.

Access
From Paris, take exit 9 of the A13, then cross Élisabethville to the Salle du Bout du Monde sports complex. Park in the car park, then follow the path alongside it and turn after passing the bridge over the Mauldre. Continue straight ahead until you reach the pond.

Se garer sur le parking, puis suivre le chemin longeant ce dernier et tourner après avoir passé le pont sur la Mauldre. Continuer tout droit jusqu'à l'étang ensuite.
