The Sorba pass is located in a special protection area. It is a coniferous forest composed mainly of laricio pines. Many trees are topped by the wind. Good place for Korsika Sıvacısı and Korsika isketesi. But you can also see birds like Boyunçeviren, Kaya kartalý, Kızıl Çaylak, Kuzgun, Molton ötleğeni, Sardunya Ötleğeni, Benekli sinekkapan, Çaprazgaga and Bahçe kirazkuşu.

Access
The Sorba Pass is crossed by the D69 departmental road that connects Gatti-di-Vivario to Ghisoni, the two nearest villages. It is the first of the three mountain passes to cross (Sorba, Verde, Vaccia) to reach Sartène from Corte. On either side of the pass, this road has several "hairpin" bends.
