Description
Sminge Sø or Lake Sminge. With its marshes and swampy reed vegetation, the lake attracts abundant birdlife, both as a breeding ground and a resting place for Nordic waterfowl. It shelters large flocks of Ötücü kuğu and Boz kaz in the winter. It is one of the few places in the Søhøjlandet with Benekli bülbül(in the thickets along the river a little south of the lake). Other birds you can expect are Bahri, Kızılboyunlu batağan, Elmabaş patka, Tepeli patka, Bataklık kirazkuşu and Saz delicesi.
