Description
Kragesand is a good place to observe bird migration in late summer and autumn, when Scandinavian birds migrate south. Waders can migrate in August, while in the autumn eider ducks, geese, and terns are seen. Kragesand is, apart from Lakolk on Rømø, the best place in Southern Jutland to find Kýzýlgerdanlý dalgýç and Karagerdanlý dalgýç. Korsanmartı and Usturagaga are often seen. In the winter, thousands of Pufla rest in the sea off Kragesand along with Altıngöz, Telkuyruk and Kara ördek.
