During winter and spring the wetland and meadows of Reymere en Paardenweide are good feeding and resting grounds for geese and ducks including Akyanaklý kaz, Kilkuyruk, Çıkrıkçın, Suna, Fiyu and Çamurcun. Also many other birds. For example Yalıçapkını, Küçük ağaçkakan, Kızkuşu and Küçük halkalı cılıbıt.

You can park your car at the carpark of the GC Groendal in Merelbeke (Brandegemse Ham 5) or see the P on the map. There is also direct bus accces to GC Groenendal from the trainstation of Ghent or Merelbeke.
