Description
Djimla Forest is also known as Forêt de Bouafroune. The forest sits at an elevation of 1,287 meters. It is a mixed forest with clearings where Algerian Nuthatch and Atlas Sinekkapanı can be observed. Other birds that have been spotted include Kızıl akbaba, Yılan Kartalı, Küçük kartal, Mağrip Alaca Baykuşu, İbibik, Arıkuşu, Levaillant Ağaçkakanı, Kuzgun and Sarıasma.

Djimla Forest is located south of the town of Djimla (marked with 1 on the map). It is best to explore the forest with a guide. There are local bird guides in Djimla (Karim Haddad: karim241267@yahoo.fr, Walid Soukkou: soukkouw@yahoo.com).
