Beskrivning
The area is a small beach with dune, mudflat, and marsh habitat which provides an ideal area for Seaside Sparrow, Red Knot, and Clapper Rail. The area is relatively nice, with trails through the grass and plenty of beach you can walk on. During low tide, a large section of mudflat is revealed, bringing in lots of shorebirds from the bay. There is a bathroom, although it has been closed for at least a few years. In place, there are some porta-potties at the front of the reserve.

Watch out for ticks! During the summer, the dunes and forest are a hotspot for American Dog Ticks. While not as bad as the Deer Ticks that spread Lyme Disease, many ticks have the possibility to spread disease.
