Beskrivning

The Guy Bradley Trail is a 2.4 kilometer an out-and-back Everglades-trail that is good for seeing a variety of birds. The path runs along the shore of Florida Bay but trees and other vegetation block the view for most of the way. On occasion there is an opening in the trees that allows you a view of the ocean. There are a few information panels along the way that discuss the plants and animals that live in the area. The trail offers the chance to see many birds and is accessible year-round. The path goes from the Visitor Center to the Flamingo Campground. Among the birds you can encounter are Roseate Spoonbill, White Ibis, Black Skimmer, Ruddy Turnstone, Yellow-crowned Night Heron, Spotted Sandpiper, Laughing Gull, American White Pelican, Brown Pelican, Willet, Little Blue Heron and Tricolored Heron.
