Beautiful papyrus swamp reachable by boat from Entebbe. You can book a boat tour to the swamp, usually half day tour. It's a guided tour aiming for the Shoebill.

Beskrivning

Mabamba Swamp is only accessible by boat. During the tour, you pass through the vegetated swamp in narrow canals. In the area you can see the famous Shoebill, the African Swamphen, the African Jacana, many Winding Cisticolas on the reeds, and many raptors like the Palm-nut Vulture, the Western Marsh Harrier, the Black Kite and the African Fish-eagle. During the tour on the lake Victoria, you can also see the Yellow-billed Duck.
