Around the Yedikır Dam, there is a plain where the wintering jorduggla population occurs. Also, the wintering bläsgås flocks occur around the dam. Beside, the jungfrutrana breeds close to the dam which is the modern breeding couple of the species in Turkey. tjockfot can be seen in the northern part of the lake in the flat dusty areas. You can see mindre strandpipare, havsörn, vaktel, vitögd dykand, brunand and many more. Also, this area always has a possibility to see rare species there such as vitkindad gås which is the second record for Turkey. berguv can be seen there which would be an uncommon record of the species. Therefore, it is obvious that you should go to the dam area to do birdwatching if you can.
