Beskrivning
The final part of Nyköpingsån river flows through the city of Nyköping. Along the river there is a very good walking path on both sides. Mostly functionally adapted. The best time to visit is during autumn, winter and spring. In the part from the harbor basin and upstream to Korsbron, there is no ice for the most part in winter and can storskrake, vigg and knipa be observed. On the river's edge gråhäger are often standing. At the rapids you can find strömstare and kungsfiskare. On the stretch from Folkunga Bridge to Storhusfallet, there is also a point for strömstare, kungsfiskare and forsärla. From Storhusfallet to Stadsbron are mostly gräsand, vigg and knipa. In the spring, the harbor basin is one of the places where the first skrattmås, fisktärna and other gulls and terns appear.
