Aspö Island is located in the Karlskrona archipelago. The island is approximately 8 square kilometers in size and has a 17th-century fortress. From Drottningskär Fortress (1) you have stunning views of the archipelago. The island is accessible via a free ferry service from Karlskrona. During the ferry trip you already have a chance to see nice bird species. On Aspö itself you can see many waders and make a nice walk.
