The area around Puyarruego is beautiful for walking and bird watching. You can hike up the mountains or along the river or canyon. Among the birds you can encounter in the area are lammgam, gåsgam, röd glada, Brun glada, Härfågel, biätare, sommargylling and sydnäktergal.
