The small Puebla campsite is situated on the Embalse de José Torán. This reservoir is located on the bird migration route to Tarifa. As spring progresses, a large part of the reservoir dries up, allowing you to make beautiful walks inside the reservoir. Especially during the autumn migration the (empty) reservoir is visited by hundreds of större strandpipare and mindre strandpipare, 3 species of gulärla, countless Rostgumpsvala, as well as klippsvala, hussvala, backsvala and ladusvala. Härfågel can be seen in large numbers. svartvingad glada hunts every day, often with 2 or 3 individuals.
In spring and summer the campsite has breeding törnskata, svart rödstjärt, rödstjärt, svartvit flugsnappare, grå flugsnappare, iberisk varfågel/ökenvarfågel, spansk sparv, 4 species of tits, större hackspett, mindre hackspett and Gröngöling. The spansk kejsarörn and gåsgam breed in the vicinity of the campsite. ormörn, dvärgörn and Fiskgjuse are also frequently seen, as are Brun glada and röd glada.
Located between Seville and Cordoba, the small campsite is an excellent place to stay surrounded by nature. There are a huge variety of birds to spot on and around the campsite. If you stay for a few days, you can easily see 80 species of birds up close.
