From an ornithological point of view Castillo de Medina Sidonia is mainly interesting because of the colony of rödfalk. There are not many other bird species in the city, although finches are abundant and the occasional surprise visit such as gåsgam.

Apart from birding I recommend a visit of the city of Castillo de Medina Sidonia. Leave the car in the center, see the city going up to the castle. It can be reached by car, taking into account that the streets are very narrow and the slope is steep.
