Żwirownia Brzegi has a large colony of skrattmås on the island, and småtärna and fisktärna also nest there. The terrain is varied: shrubs, grasses, deciduous trees, ponds. Among the other birds you can encounter are nilgås, tornfalk, storskrake, trastsångare, svarthalsad dopping and domherre.
