Mid-forest wetlands with numerous streams bring abundance of undergrowth. The old stand provides a nesting place for birds, the adjacent semi-open area causes a great diversity of the biotope. This contributes to a significant birds diversity, with 59 recorded bird species. For example, there are 3 breeding species of woodpeckers here : större hackspett , mellanspett , Gröngöling.
