You can find a vassångare here resounding in the extensive reed beds. As well as listen to the singing of a ortolansparv and a sydnäktergal on the edge of the forest. If you are lucky, you may even notice an hornuggla flying silently over the local fields. The forest itself also hides many interesting species such as trädkrypare, grönsångare and brandkronad kungsfågel.
If you are here in autumn, you can expect waders, which include grönbena, gluttsnäppa and drillsnäppa. The river itself also has a lot to offer, storskrake and numerous knölsvan breed here. In the morning, the loud cry of the Trana resounds here, as it brings out its nests here. I hope I have described it well and encouraged you to visit this wonderful place.

Dolina Prosny is located directly northwest of the town of Kalisz. The easiest way is to park in one of the nearby parking lots or take public transport (Bażancia pętla) where city buses run. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. It's quite a large area. To get an idea of the distances: The walk from the parking to the observation tower is about 3 km one way.
