Fiordland National Park occupies the southwest corner of the South Island of New Zealand. It is by far the largest of the 13 national parks in New Zealand. The park consists mainly of forests and water, including fourteen fjords. Where the Milford Sound Highway goes into the Homer tunnel you can make a nice stop and have an opportunity so see Kea. Other birds you can encounter on this spot are New Zealand Rock Wren, New Zealand Bellbird, Grey Warbler, Silvereye, Australian Pipit and Tomtit.
