Many birds can be seen in the Vossemeer, especially in winter. Observing is best done from the Vossemeerdijk on the Flevoland side. Nice ducks as stjärtand, salskrake and storskrake can be seen here. In the south there is a sandbank, which is dry with south or east wind. Then there is a chance of waders in all seasons. The Vossemeer borders the Ketelmeer. You can drive best on the Flevoland-side. There are enough parkings where you can stop with a view on the water. There is also a cyclingpath along the lakeside.
