Beskrivning

The mussel beds in this part of the Wadden Sea are a good feeding ground for birds like ejder , svarthalsad dopping and, in winter, smålom and/or sillgrissla . When you're lucky, you may find a svarthakedopping or a gråhakedopping between the numerous svarthalsad dopping , that gather here after the breeding season.

Nederlands: Dit gebied, dat 's middags het best bezocht kan worden vanwege de lichtomstandigheden, herbergt vaak interessante (overwinterende) zeevogels. De mosselbanken in dit deel van de Waddenzee zijn een goede voedselplek voor vogels als ejder, svarthalsad dopping en in de winter smålom en / of sillgrissla. Tillgänglighet

There is a parking lot along the IJsdijk and a maintenance road as well as a staircase going over the dike. Most of the birds can easily be seen from the dike. In winter, it may be interesting to search the outer rocks for skärpiplärka and snösparv.

Nederlands: Er is een parkeerplaats langs de IJsdijk en een onderhoudsweg en een trap over de dijk. De meeste vogels zijn vanaf de dijk goed te zien. In de winter kan het interessant zijn om in de buitenste rotsen te zoeken naar skärpiplärka en snösparv.

The Wadden Sea can be quite choppy, but the grebes can still be there. It may be worthwhile to take an extra good look.
