The population of the threatened eremitibis is luckily increasing again in Morocco, thanks to good protection. In this area near Tifnit you have a very good chance to see them. Sometimes the eremitibis can sit surprisingly close and are not shy. Especially when you use your car as a hide you can observe them well.
Along the Tifnit coast and beach you can also see several other coastal birds. For example större strandpipare, småspov, roskarl, sandlöpare, rödnäbbad trut, and above sea havssula and Kentsk tärna.
