Pineta del Faro has a high biodiversity both in terms of fauna and flora. The area is a mix of beach, open fields, forest, dunes, scattered trees and bushes and you can also view the mouth of the river Tagliamento. The scenery is very pleasant. Among the birds you can encounter are medelhavstrut, större hackspett, Gröngöling, fisktärna, Storskarv, sparvhök, dvärguv and sammetshätta.
