Beskrivning
Just north of Sigri, several irrigated fields and groves are located. These areas can be packed with migrants during spring migration; especially during fall conditions. The groves can be packed with flycatchers, redstarts, warblers, buntings, sommargylling and chats. The wires and fences are worth checking for migrating shrikes, like rödhuvad törnskata and svartpannad törnskata. Harriers tend to hunt above the surrounding fields, like ängshök. In winter, kungsfiskare can be seen next to the shoreline.
Migration can be seen during mostly the morning, and large flocks of raptors, falcons, storks, herons, swifts and bee-eaters can be seen flying overhead.
Locally, rödfalk breeds and tend to forage in these fields too. Pairs are often mixed with other falcons, like aftonfalk.
