Park the car at the southern side of Skala Katerinis/ Olympiaki Akti and follow the beach southwards. Species that can be found here are kornsparv, tjockfot and biätare. Reaching the river mouth, species that can be expected are styltlöpare, natthäger, bronsibis, purpurhäger, dvärgskarv, svarthuvad mås and långnäbbad mås.
On the way back it might be worth to do a detour and follow the river upstream and after a while turn northwards.
