Beskrivning
Teufelsseemoor Köpenick offers a peaceful and relaxed forest and moorland birding environment. A beautiful circular path leads around and through the moor, making it a particularly good option for hikes to the Müggelberge or around Müggelsee.
In spring, you can admire the blooming cotton grass from the footbridge. In addition to many bird species, there is also an abundance of dragonflies to observe here. There is also a educational nature trail along the edge of the moor.
The main attraction here for birders is the regular presence of mindre flugsnappare, one of the only reliable breeding spots in and around Berlin. Given their shyness and tiny size, they are a challenging one to spot!
This area is a worthwhile detour from the much larger Müggelsee southern shore.
