Beskrivning
The pond of Rixdorfer Teich is popular with typical urban birds like stjärtmes, rödhake and nötskrika, as well as waterfowl like knölsvan, mandarinand and rörhöna.
Some of the usual talgoxe are very used to humans and will even take seeds from the hand. There is a family of ormvråk that live in the park, and one or two are usually hanging around in the trees near the pond. In summer many ladusvala circle over the pond, and in autumn and winter there are always lots of steglits in the alders next to the pond.
