Beskrivning
The Pullinger Weiher are a group of quarry lakes south of the village of Pulling in the Freisinger Moos. The largest lake is used for bathing and is very busy in the summer. Therefore, there are hardly any water birds there in this time.
In winter, however, many ducks like vigg, brunand, bläsand, snatterand, Skedand and Kricka as well as grågås, sothöna, skäggdopping and Smådopping spend the winter on the lakes. The diving ducks prefer the large eastern lake, the dabbling ducks prefer the two small western ones. From time to time, rarities like svärta, alfågel, storlom and gråhakedopping are also observed. In winter, vattenpiplärka regularly search for food on the banks, and during migration, mindre strandpipare and drillsnäppa visit the gravelly banks of the bathing lake.

The Pullinger Weiher can be reached in 15 minutes on foot from the S-Bahn station Pulling, where the line S1 Munich-Freising stops every 20 minutes. There are also two parking spaces to the north-west and south of the bathing lake. A footpath runs along the west and south banks of the bathing lake. The western ponds are more difficult to access and you cannot get down to the banks. However, you can overlook the water from the road and a farm track.
