The Portikus is a Frankfurt-based institution for contemporary art. It's located on an island in the river Main. Easy birding in the center of the city.

Beskrivning

The island offers numerous bird species a (breeding) habitat in the center of the city. The importance of this island becomes clear when you consider that almost the entire inner-city bank areas of the Main are heavily built-up and there are hardly any retreats for water birds, e.g. Offer joggers, cyclists or dogs.
