Grube Cox has mixed forest with lakes and ponds. snatterand, brunand and Storskarv spend the winter on the lakes. dubbeltrast can be seen in the poplars on the edges of the lake. In the forest, with a bit of luck, there are mindre hackspett , mellanspett, stenknäck and domherre.
In winter rödvingetrast and bergfink can also be seen. At night you can see morkulla, hear kattuggla call and very occasionally berguv. During migration I saw Fiskgjuse hunt, but it is rare to observe them here. From a herpetological point of view, it is also worth a visit, as you can observe sand lizards, grass snakes and common midwife toad here.
