Beskrivning
Grippel is a village in Lower Saxony and lies on the river Elbe. Next to the village lies the Grippeler See, a wetland where you can see many birds. Between Grippel and village of Langendorf there is also an observation tower. This is in the three-country triangle: Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Brandenburg. If you climb the tower, you get a wonderful view over the Elbe. Among the birds you can see are vit stork, svart stork, röd glada, Brun glada, Trana, gråhäger, ägretthäger and many ducks, geese and other water birds.
