Beskrivning
The Favoritepark is a protected nature reserve in Ludwigsburg. The park mainly consists of open grass fields and forest and surrounds Schloss Favorite, a small palace once used by the former dukes and kings of Württemberg as a ‘pleasure palace’ and hunting lodge.
Favoritepark is home to many common and uncommon forest birds, like nötskrika, gärdsmyg, Nötväcka, större hackspett, mellanspett, Gröngöling and more rarely; spillkråka.
Around May, there is a chance to see halsbandsflugsnappare. In summer, you can observe rödstjärt, sommargylling, and Brun glada. With some luck, you might even hear or spot a kattuggla or a gråspett.
