Beskrivning
The typical species of a city can be seen at the Decksteiner Weiher in summer. On the lake kanadagås, nilgås, skäggdopping and gräsand can be seen. Around the lake you can observe Gröngöling, steglits, mellanspett and much more. In winter, however, more rare duck species such as vigg, brunand, snatterand and with a bit of luck also vitögd dykand can be found.

Decksteiner Weiher is easy to reach by bike from Cologne (Köln). You can also get there easily by car. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking. A circular walk around the lake is about 5 km.
