Beskrivning
The Baddeckenstedt Teiche are ponds that are located in the nature reserve Mittleres Innerstetal, about 6 km east of the Derneburg ponds. Numerous waterfowl breed here, including around 15 pairs of Smådopping , 1-2 pairs of svarthalsad dopping and, for the first time in 2010, a pair of gråhakedopping. Occasionally, skäggdopping also breed. In addition to gräsand and knölsvan, vigg, brunand and snatterand are at home here.
