Along the river Ognon and the forest and lakes of Bonnal many bird species can be observed. Especially biätare, röd glada, gulhämpling, Brun glada and kungsfiskare. In summer it is also possible to see big groups of vit stork en ormvråk. The best way to see birds at the river L'Ognon is by canoe, you can see many groups of biätare breeding. Other birds you can see in the area are mellanspett, Gröngöling and Bivråk.
