La Rincerie is a pond with shallow depths, gentle slopes on the outskirts and quite dense riverine vegetation (willow grove) around the periphery of the pond. More than 230 species of birds have been observed there.
Spring and summer are not the best times for birding on this site, although local nesters are present there, disturbance is frequent due to leisure activities (wakeboarding, sailing, windsurfing, kayak, paddle, fishing, swimming). Despite this, this site has plenty of surprises in store for local bird watchers!
Prefer regular passages in the fall to follow postnuptial migrants stopping over the site and its surroundings. Depending on the waterlevel shorebirds (kärrsnäppa, brushane, svartsnäppa) and waders (skedstork, vit stork, styltlöpare) are frequent here. Three species of tern: skäggtärna, svarttärna and vitvingad tärnahave already been observed here. Many geese have been seen here also: prutgås, vitkindad gås, grågås, bläsgås, tajgasädgås. The sparrows also stop there to stock up on fat before resuming their journey to hot regions, keep a close eye on the riverine forests and bushes.
In winter, anatidae and laridae are frequent: for the rarest we note the blåvingad årta, the vitögd dykand, the bergand, the Vitvingad trut, the kaspisk trut and the skräntärna. Watch for the pond and nearby meadows perhaps you will have the chance to see the jorduggla.

Français: La Rincerie est un étang d'une superficie d'environ 52ha sur lequel les loisirs sont nombreux, en hors-saison c'est un bon site d'acueil pour l'avifaune. C'est un étang avec de faibles profondeurs, des pentes douces sur les abords et une végétation rivulaire assez dense (saulaie...) sur le pourtour de l'étang. Plus de 230 espèces d'oiseaux y ont été observées.
Le printemps et l'été ne sont pas les meilleures périodes pour faire de l'ornithologie sur ce site, bien que les nicheurs locaux y sont présent, le dérangement y est fréquent à cause des activités de loisirs (wakeboard, voile, planche à voile, kayak, Paddle, pêche, baignade...). Malgré cela, ce site à réservé bien des surprises pour les ornithologues locaux !
Privilégiez des passages réguliers à l'automne pour suivre les migrateurs postnuptiaux en halte sur le site et ses abords. Selon les niveaux sur les berges et en queue d'étang les limicoles (kärrsnäppa, brushane, svartsnäppa ...) et échassiers (skedstork, vit stork, styltlöpare...) y sont fréquents. Les trois espèces de Guifettes : skäggtärna, svarttärna et vitvingad tärna y ont déjà été observé. Presques toutes les Oies y sont passé : prutgås, vitkindad gås, grågås, bläsgås, tajgasädgås. Les passereaux s'y arrêtent également pour y faire des réserves de graisses avant de reprendre leur route vers les régions chaudes, surveillez les ripisylves et buissons de près !
En hiver, les anatidés et laridés sont fréquent : pour les plus rares notons la blåvingad årta, le vitögd dykand, lebergand, le Vitvingad trut, lekaspisk trut, la skräntärna. Surveillez la queue d'étang et les prairies proches peut-être que vous aurez la chance de voir jorduggla.
