Etang David is a place filled with bush birds, especially in springtime: svarthätta, sydnäktergal, turturduva are easy to find, as well as kungsfiskare and rödhuvad dykand on the pond. Woodpeckers can be found on deciduous trees: större hackspett, mindre hackspett, Gröngöling, spillkråka.
The place is also a nesting area for herons: natthäger, gråhäger, Kohäger can be spotted from the pond side.
Some raptors: Brun glada, lärkfalk and with chance röd glada and ormörn are easy to spot hunting around.
Unusual birds like pungmes are possible during a walk across this picturesque little place.
