The Rhine is used as wintering area by waterbirds such as brunand, vigg, and a few gulls. Pilgrimsfalk is often seen hunting or perched on the buildings in the industrial area nearby. vitögd dykand and storskrake can also be found. A few scarcities have been seen here, mostly in winter but also in migration period such as dvärgskarv, alfågel or svärta.
