Vuosaaren Kartano and Nordsjö Manor attract a variety of birds throughout the year. There's a small forest like area right next to the park that provides shelter for wildlife and the Uutela forest is on the other side of the road, so you never know what birds can visit the park. During the hot summer months, local bird enthusiasts bring water to a dent on a big rock that has proven to be a popular pool for birds like grå flugsnappare, blåmes, svartvit flugsnappare, hämpling, större hackspett, talgoxe, gråsparv, pilfink, bofink and grönfink.
The trees and bushes in the area provide food and shelter for birds like svarthätta, lövsångare, gransångare, trädkrypare and rödhake. In autumn the parks multiple oak trees attract nötskrika and birders have spotted vitryggig hackspett in the area during autumn as well. Some of the rarer bird sightings have been svart rödstjärt and nattskärra.
