There's a nature trail around the Heikkilänmetsä forest and also two bird observation towers, where you can see to the Lake Vallonjärvi, which is a good place for waterfowl and many other wetland birds. Among the birds you can encounter are vitryggig hackspett, gråspett, tretåig hackspett, mindre hackspett, spillkråka, Trana, tofsmes, svartmes and Fiskgjuse.
