Beskrivning
The place where Izvorska River joins the Mandra Reservoir is shallow marsh with hilly slopes around, some covered with oak forest, other - with dry bushy grasslands and scattered trees. Marsh vegetation forms a belt also along the adjacent bay of the reservoir. vattenrall, småfläckig sumphöna and mindre sumphöna can be seen on the edge of the water vegetation. Other birds there are årta, vitögd dykand, havsörn, purpurhäger and rallhäger, dvärgskarv and other. During migration flocks of vit stork, svart stork and birds of prey pass over the area.
