Most of the time people visit this nature reserve during the summer. But also during the winter and migration period you can see intersting bird species. The area is famous for the nattskärra which you can see during the summer but in the winter you can see the Varfågel. Other birds you can encounter in the area are knipa, Fiskgjuse, lärkfalk, stenfalk, svart stork, Nötväcka, korp, Trana, spillkråka and kattuggla. Rare visitors are havsörn, fältpiplärka, purpurhäger and styltlöpare.
